Just Catching Up!

Hi Friends~ The summer is flying by so fast, and I haven't updated this for a while. It's been one of those summers where you are not sure if things are going extremely right or crazy wrong! We played a couple of shows this summer which were well received and extremely exciting to play. You just cannot get the rush of playing live until you do it. We would love to play out all the time, and in fact often dream of riding around in a groovy school bus just playing our songs and traveling along! OK so I lifted that from the Partridge Family, but it really is a cool idea! We are trying to figure out the logistics. It's expensive taking the band out live. We hope we can figure out a way to get our show to you very soon. We appreciate each and every one of you who takes the time to come out and see us!

We have been amazed, pleased, and at times shocked with the radio plays THIS SIDE OF MADNESS is getting. We owe so much to our friends at Artist Airplay Advisors who work very hard on our behalf. It's beyond cool when you see your song on a station's playlist. Even cooler when you actually get to hear it! Our first single "Tell Me You Love Me" has been played daily on the really awesome station WFIV in Knoxville 105.3 FM. Other stations (see our RADIO STATIONS page) have been giving us strong attention as well, and we are extremely grateful for that. We appreciate any and all requests and listener feedback given to these stations. Letting radio programmers know you want to hear us helps immensely.

Most of all I appreciate those of you who really love the music. I cannot truly express how it feels when people tell you they listened to your CD six times in a row or they haven't taken your CD out of their car players since they bought it or your music is getting them through a hard time. Then for that moment the rejection you get or lack of response disappears... you remember why you came here, what you are doing, what your direction is. You have to believe in yourself more than anything, and there are days when that is hard to do. But you also have to remember why you write songs and how to share them with the world. The part of your world that wants to hear you will, and those people are exactly the ones you write and sing for anyway.

Much love to you and as always Rock On! sarah
